Concrete for air-entrapment evaluation
The 3.1-mile Tappan Zee Bridge (Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge), completed in 2017, uses high-performance, durable concrete designed for a 100-year lifespan. It features 975 precast concrete deck panels, galvanized rebar for corrosion resistance, and massive reinforced concrete pier columns.
